Metzler Brauanlagen
We offer brewing equipment from German manufacturing plants with a volume of 25 to 150 L for small restaurateurs, bar owners and hobby brewers. Our stainless steel systems are reliable, inexpensive, easy to use, and brew the best beer according to discerning German standards. We can also draw upon the knowledge of three generations of master brewers. Metzler Brauanlagen UG’s mission is to foster the tradition of brewing beer, which is deeply rooted in the history of Germany. Our company continues what the founder of the predecessor company, Ewald Metzler, began. Ewald Metzler is a master brewer and an engineer by trade. Both Metzler’s father and his grandfather brewed in Dingsleben, Thüringen.
After many years of experience, Metzler designed a compact and modern brewery system for private use (25l, 2-Vessel-System) as well as for advanced professional brewers (150l, 4-Vessel-System). We serve customers not only in Germany, but also in Switzerland, Austria and in Spain, Mallorca.
To serve the purpose of a self-brewed beer and to maintain the brewery tradition, Metzler’s grandson, Johan Jarvers, founded Metzler Brauanlagen UG together with his co-founders Ran Qu and Kassjan Smyczek and modernized the well-proven concept. Ewald Metzler is still supporting Metzler Brauanlagen with his valuable experience. Our products are now sold internationally to bring people worldwide together through the art of beer brewery.

(with high gravity processing up to 40 Liter)
- Electrical heating, stepless adjustable
- Lauter tun with sieve and lauter tap

The basic equipment consists of:
- 1x electrically heated brewing pot with manual stepless
temperature control
- 1x lauter tun with lid, sieve and ½ “ lauter tap
- 1x stir stick
Optional equipment can be added. Further equipment on our
accessory list.
Description: The infusion processing is used to make the wort inside the two-vessel system. The cooking pot is used as a mash pan, wort pan and whirlpool. The lauter tun is used to lauter the mash and represents the fermentation vat for primary fermentation. The secondary fermentation takes places within the kegs. These kegs also serve as transport and tap vessels. The tapping of the beer is done with a CO2–system together with the tap. The maximal volume of beer which can be produced through one operation is 25l. By using the high gravity processing this volume can be increased up to 40 Liter. The whole system is made of Chromenickel steel. For putting the system into service only two conventional plug sockets are needed.

Description: This system is enhanced with one additional pot where the wort after lautering is collected and later cooked. This enables to start the next brewing operation of 150l as early as the mash has been pumped into the lauter tun. It therefore makes sense when several brewing operations are to be made. The cooked wort is brought to pitching temperature by the heat exchanger. The meanwhile hot water which was applied for cooling can be used to start the next mashing process. All four vessels of this system are piped. Mash and wort are pumped to the succeeding vessels by the integrated pump. The brewing scheme (temperature and time program) can be typed into the control unit and will be implemented during the brewing process. The activation of the electrical stirring unit as well as of the pump is manual by using the switch.
